Author: Sarah Dessen is an American writer who's written nine books throughout her career, the years of which written were from 1996 to 2011, as she continues to work on her latest novel: What Happened to Goodbye. None of these books I've read, and The Truth About Forever is the first I have but I highly recommend it anyways! Three of her books have been New York Times best sellers, and others have also won many awards including the School Library Journal Best Book of the Year and ALA Best book for Young Adults and so on.
Book: Macy Queen is calm, collected and on the borderline of perfect. When her dad passed away, something in her seemed to be taken with him. She runs from the secrets and pain she keeps and facades a persona that she persuades herself will ensure everyone's happiness. She realizes the fragility of life and forever when she stumbles upon a group of friends and in one summer; everything changes.
